The Extra-Long Range (XLR) model is strengthened by additional bumpers and a specifically designed rubber boot to ensure maximum robustness. Skorpio X5 withstands multiple drops up to 1.8 m / 6 ft onto concrete. It is hermetic to dust and protected against waterjets with an IP65 rating. It belongs to the “Android Enterprise Recommended” program, supporting a curated list of enterprise requirements as specified by Google in terms of hardware, software and support. Gorilla Glass® protects the display against accidental damage. Drop resistance can be further increased with the use of the optional rubber boot accessory. All these attributes make this rugged device particularly suitable for mobile commerce solutions in the retail environment, both in-store and back-end receiving applications.
